Martin N. Montoro, MD is a professor of clinical medicine and obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Montoro is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 1968, he received his medical degree from the University of Madrid, School of Medicine in Spain. Montoro completed his internship at Wayne State University in Detroit, and his residency and fellowship in 1977 and 1979 respectively at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He joined the Division of Maternal Fetal-Medicine at the University of Southern California upon completing his fellowship in 1979. Montoro is co-director of the diabetes and pregnancy service and consultant for endocrine and other medical complications of pregnancy at the Women’s Hospital, LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.
